Daniel Smith — Owner & Broker in Charge

A Unique Blend of Engineering & Real Estate Expertise

Daniel Smith received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2008. He started his real estate career shortly after graduating college by working at Town and Country Realty in Thomasville, NC as a sales agent. Town and Country primarily focuses on property management and it's there Daniel learned a significant amount about real estate investing.

Daniel flipped his first house in 2008, purchased his first rental house in 2009, and continues to invest today.

"When you start investing in real estate, it requires you to fully dedicate yourself to learning the local market. You have to know how to buy and negotiate a great deal, renovate it in a way that captures the most buyers, and then effectively market and value that property to sell it quickly. As an investor, if you make a mistake on the value of a house, you are putting your own money at risk. Ultimately, you have to train yourself to become an expert in the local market or you will lose money. This has created what I like to call a healthy obsession with the local real estate market."

Olivia Warfford — Agent

Interior Design, Investing & Real Estate Expertise

Olivia Warfford was exposed to the real estate industry at a young age as her parents owned investment properties and flipped houses for as long as she can remember. She bought her first house — which would become her first rental property — at age 23 and flipped her first house at age 24.

Olivia attended N.C. State University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, minoring in health and medicine. After working in the clinical research industry for 6 years, she decided to join her husband, a General Contractor, and together they do all things real estate: property development, flipping houses, and updating and maintaining investment properties. Olivia also brings a unique edge as an interior designer, offering space planning and home staging services.

"With personal experience flipping houses I love being able to quickly see the potential in homes that may not look like a client's dream home initially but with the right vision could far exceed their expectations or be a perfect investment property for them. Having interior design experience, I am also able to help with the staging of homes to get them sold fast."
